These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Ringlynx, an AI-powered phone receptionist service operated by Oxi Studios ("we", "our", or "us"). By using Ringlynx, you agree to these Terms.
1. Service Description
Ringlynx provides an AI-powered phone answering and appointment booking service for trade businesses. The service includes:
- 24/7 automated call answering
- Customer information collection
- Appointment scheduling
- SMS notifications
- Dashboard for managing appointments
2. Eligibility
To use Ringlynx, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Operate a legitimate business in Australia
- Have the authority to bind your business to these Terms
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
3. Account Registration
When you create an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and update your information
- Keep your password secure and confidential
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
4. Pricing and Payment
4.1 Subscription Fees
Ringlynx is offered on a subscription basis at $50 AUD per month, which includes 100 minutes of call time. Additional minutes can be purchased as needed.
4.2 Billing
- Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance
- Payment is processed through Stripe
- All fees are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable
- Failed payments may result in service suspension
4.3 Minute Usage
Call minutes are calculated based on call duration:
- Calls under 50 seconds round down (e.g., 2:21 = 2 minutes)
- Calls 50+ seconds round up (e.g., 2:51 = 3 minutes)
- Unused minutes do not roll over to the next billing period
4.4 Refunds
Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by Australian Consumer Law. Unused minutes are not refundable upon cancellation.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Transmit harmful code, viruses, or malware
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the service
- Use the service for spam, harassment, or abusive purposes
- Resell or redistribute the service without authorization
6. Telecommunications Compliance
As a telecommunications service provider in Australia, we comply with:
- Telecommunications Act 1997 (Cth)
- Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) regulations
- Telecommunications Consumer Protections (TCP) Code
- Do Not Call Register Act 2006
You agree to use the service in compliance with all applicable telecommunications laws and regulations.
7. Service Availability
We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted or error-free service
- 100% uptime or availability
- Specific response times or performance levels
We may suspend or terminate service for maintenance, upgrades, or security reasons with reasonable notice when possible.
8. Data and Privacy
Your use of Ringlynx is subject to our Privacy Policy. By using the service, you consent to:
- Recording of phone calls for quality and training purposes
- Processing of customer data as described in our Privacy Policy
- Use of AI and automated systems to handle calls
9. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of Ringlynx are owned by Oxi Studios and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute our software or content
- Reverse engineer or decompile the service
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices
- Use our trademarks without permission
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Our total liability is limited to the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim
- We are not responsible for missed calls, lost business opportunities, or data loss
- We are not liable for third-party service failures (Twilio, Vapi, etc.)
Australian Consumer Law: Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified by agreement.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Oxi Studios from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:
- Your use of the service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any laws or regulations
- Your infringement of third-party rights
12. Termination
12.1 By You
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
12.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Fail to pay fees
- Engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior
- Pose a security risk
12.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your access to the service will cease
- No refunds will be provided for unused time or minutes
- We may delete your data after a reasonable retention period
13. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
14. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
